Dawn light found everyone on deck. The news of the Al’Ri civil war was met with a shrug. The Kraken Pirates wouldn’t let anyone touch a member of their crew. A table was set up amidship and charts were laid out. Strategy was discussed and questions answered.
“I say no more running,” Bry said. “We see ‘em, we sink ‘em.”
“Aye. No prisoners,” Nickel said.
Stephen nodded and patted his new enchanted weapons. “Aye. We send them under.”
“Sailing blind will get us no where,” Gabb said. “We need a better plan than ‘sink ‘em’.”
Kraken tapped a finger on the chart. “This one. Uninhabited, deep waters, open bay, good high points for watch. We could draw a few in here.”
Kor shook his head. “One at most. The next would know what to expect. But, if they can track us, why can’t we track them?”
Cousin barked a laugh. “And without them knowing, too.”
Kraken nodded. “We take the fight to them.”
